On 26 March 2013, a fierce fire destroyed the St. Nicholas Church in Westkapelle. The Church has a history dating back to the twelfth century.

Atelier Mestdagh produced the drawings, made the stained glass panels, and installed both the stained glass and protective glazing.

The stained glass windows have been produced using mouth-blown glass. It was a fantastic experience to be able to work with over 150 m2 of mouth-blown glass to create these beautiful stained glass windows.
