Atelier Mestdagh wishes you the very best for the New Year! We hope that this will be an inspiring year for you with... Good health, Creativity, Relaxation & above all lots of Love.
2019 will be a year full of challenges for Atelier Mestdagh!
We look ahead at our calendar, with the following projects:
Finishing of the stained glass windows in the St Servaas church in Schaarbeek. Produce and install the new stained glass windows (design Bureau Bressers) in the church in Westkapelle. Produce and install a new stained glass window (design Nele Antoons) in the church in Maasmechelen. Install the new windows by Ingrid Meyvaert in the Clarenshof in Nieuwpoort.
Besides our daily activities, we are also active in other areas:
After the successful launch of the workshops in October, we will continue with the second session. On 28/04, we will be opening our doors as part of Heritage Day. We are also starting our information evenings for architects, interior designers and construction companies.
In April, supported by the Flemish government, we are launching a teaching programme in which Luc Mestdagh’s knowledge of stained glass art will be transferred to the third generation. This will be linked to a challenging art project ‘Stained Stories’, in which stained glass will be installed in a phone box from 1958, based on designs of cartoonist Joris Snaet.
You can follow the project via our social media channels Facebook & Instagram.
